Boo-tiful Handmade Quilt

It’s almost Halloween and this custom quilt epitomizes some of the favorite US Halloween scenes.

Pieced and quilted by Elizabeth Rowden, Rolla, Missouri, it was on display at an earlier local quilt show.

She said she started the quilt in 2000 but didn’t finish it until 2018.

One of the nice features of this custom quilt are the fabrics incorporated in all of the designs. Fabric selection is an important part of making the quilt’s overall design look good.

The other interesting aspect about fabric selection is how it looks up close and from a distance. They can definitely look different!
