Red Hat Society Quilt Wall Hanging
/Red Hat Society Quilt Wall Hanging
The Red Hat Society is a women's social club that began in California in 1998. I remember older friends getting their red hats and purple scarves out and watching their excitement about celebrating life as they grew older.
In a society that emphasizes youth, it was a refreshing change to see women realizing their lives don’t end at 50 years old and they can have fun. The only rule of the Red Hat Society is that there are no rules.
This charming quilt wall hanging celebrates the spirit of the Red Hat Society.
The custom, one of a kind quilted wall hanging would be a charming addition to a den and “she shed” or for a friend who brightens your day.
Can someone younger than 50 join? Why yes, and they wear pink hats and lavender clothes!
